Project 3 PART 1

Diffused Light

ISO: 400 (should have been higher to make it a bit brighter)

F-stop: 18

Shutter Speed: 1/125

Reflection

ISO: 400

F-stop: 18

Shutter Speed: 1/20 (obviously way too low, don't know how that happened but will look into it)

Indoor Lighting

ISO: 800

F-stop: 5

Shutter Speed: 1/60

Camera's Flash Inside

ISO: 400

F-stop: 5.6

Shutter Speed: 1/60

  1. Hey Dominic!

All of the photos are well done and you have used the skills mentioned in the projects 1 & 2 well.
First, your P1 was taken on diffused light so the snow does not reflect the sunlight and exposed. As you mentioned, the ISO affects the brightness of the image, and I know it's difficult to shoot on a cloudy day.
The second picture is the reflection of the glass. I think the weather and the thickness of the window have an effect on the scene. The image is a little bit dark, and there are no prominent reflections, and the shutter speed is lower in the presence of the shadow itself, which seems to make the picture more blurry. I think it's a pitythat this image doesn't create a great DOF.
Picture 3: The light and shadow reflected through the glass pendant is very good! No light source was captured but the light in the picture was just adjusted, but it seemed to be out of focus.
Picture 4: The flash was a success, it is not exposed and avoided flash reflection, and I thought maybe a little faster shutter speed would make the relective points a little clearer.
Overall your use of light is very good! Great job!
